Your game stays yours.
MineFacet does not require an account and has no developer-operated analytics or gameplay backend. Your active game, settings, progress, rescue lives, and statistics remain in the app's local storage on your device.
1. Information stored on your device
MineFacet stores game state, board configuration, timer state, selected language and controls, accessibility preferences, progression, rescue-life inventory, advertising pacing, and game statistics locally. The app does not send this information to the developer. It remains until you reset it in the app, remove the app, or a compatibility migration retires an unfinished game. Device backups controlled by you or Apple may retain a copy according to your device and backup settings.
2. Advertising and consent
Free Beginner and Intermediate play may contain occasional interstitial ads at natural breaks. Rewarded videos play only after you explicitly choose them in exchange for one rescue life or a one-time rescue. Premium removes automatic ads; optional rewarded videos remain available.
MineFacet uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage privacy choices and Google Mobile Ads to deliver ads. Before the ads SDK starts, the app requests an up-to-date UMP consent status and does not request an ad unless UMP reports that ads can be requested.
MineFacet applies separate privacy controls to every ad session: it configures Google's Limited Ads storage mode, disables Google's publisher first-party identifier, and marks each request as non-personalized (NPA). The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, create a developer advertising identifier, or send board layouts, mine positions, scores, statistics, or a gameplay profile with an ad request.
Google and its advertising partners may still process technical information needed to request, deliver, secure, measure, and report ads. Google's SDK documentation and privacy manifest identify data that can include IP-address-derived coarse location, app or device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, performance data, crash data, and other diagnostics. The data actually available and used depends on iOS permissions, the Limited Ads mode, region, consent choices, and Google's systems. Purposes can include advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and app functionality. MineFacet does not use this information to build its own user profile.
If UMP does not permit an ad request or an ad is unavailable, gameplay continues without blocking. When required in your region, privacy choices can be reopened from Settings → Privacy Choices.

3. Purchases
Apple StoreKit processes the one-time Premium purchase and optional developer-support tips. The app verifies the product and transaction status on your device to unlock Premium or acknowledge a tip; the developer does not operate a purchase server. The developer does not receive card, bank, or Apple Account credentials. Apple manages transaction and account records under Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Support
If you voluntarily email support, your email address, message headers, message, and any attachment you choose to send are used to investigate, answer, secure, and document the request. Email delivery and the developer's support mailbox use third-party email services, including Google for the published Gmail address. Do not send passwords, payment information, or unrelated sensitive data. Correspondence is kept only as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable legal, security, and record-keeping obligations; you may request deletion using the contact below.
5. This website
The official MineFacet pages do not use cookies, analytics, advertising, web forms, or third-party scripts. They are static pages hosted by GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub may receive ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested page, and request time, under GitHub's Privacy Statement.
6. Children
MineFacet is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not create accounts or ask for a player's name, contact details, precise location, photos, or voice data. A parent or guardian should handle support contact and privacy choices for anyone who cannot make those choices under the law where they live.
7. Retention, deletion, and your choices
You can erase local gameplay, progression, statistics, and settings through MineFacet's reset controls or by deleting the app. Apple-managed Premium entitlement can reappear after restoration because Apple retains the purchase record. Advertising privacy choices are managed through UMP's Privacy Choices entry point when required.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and the right to contact your local data-protection authority. Email the address below to make a request concerning support correspondence or the developer's handling of information. MineFacet cannot retrieve local-only game data from your device. Requests about information controlled independently by Apple, Google, GitHub, or an advertising partner should also be directed to that provider.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when features, legal requirements, or service-provider practices change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
